Sail Airlie regatta is on again this April Racing on the waters of Pioneer Bay, the regatta attracts regulars each year as well as many casual visitors form around Australia. The regatta incorporates the North Queensland Laser Championship and is part of the North Queensland Sabot Series.
The Whitsunday Sailing Club hosts races on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year. Join in the fun at 4.30 pm and all members and visiting yachts are welcome to join in. Entry is $15 per race and entry forms are available at the club reception.
3rd to 6th November 2016 … Airlie Beach Festival of Music 2016 … This is a four day waterfront music festival to be held on the 3rd to 6th Nov 2016 with a massive 74 bands playing across 16 venues. Featuring famous national musicians the festival is a fabulous weekend of live music in paradise.
11th August to 18th August 2016 – Festival of Sailing Whitsunday Sailing Club – Airlie Beach, known as one of the world’s premier sailing destinations attracts entrants to this Race week from all over Australia and overseas. In its 27th year, it is a seven day event with around 1800 competitors and officials.
