No problem – just give us at least 24 hours notice before 2pm check-in so we have a fair chance of reselling your booking. If not, you must pay for at least the first night of your booking.

For group bookings of six people or more, we need at least 72 hours notice and also over the Christmas and New Year Period we will require 72 hours notice

How do I get there?

Arriving by bus

Its an easy 800 metre walk from the Greyhound/Premier bus stop. Follow the path next to The Boat House to the end, and you will see the Airlie Beach Hotel, follow the path to the right and you will be on the Esplanade, keep walking and on your left side you will see Beach Plaza and the Airlie Waterfront reception.


Shute Harbour Road is the main road into Airlie Beach from the highway. Take this road all the way into Airlie and once you pass McDonald’s, take the first turn on your left. Airlie Waterfront is on the right at Beach Plaza, 6 The Esplanade.

Flying into Proserpine

Catch a taxi or shuttle bus from the airport to our door. Both are easy to organise at the airport after you land. We can book your return transfer.

Flying into Hamilton Island

Take the ferry across to Shute Harbour and catch a taxi or bus into town. Buses arrive shortly after each ferry.

Arriving by train into Proserpine

Catch the Whitsunday Transit Rail Service to Airlie Beach and ask them to drop you at our door.

Reception hours

7AM to 7PM, seven days a week. If you arrive late, please call security. Their mobile number is on our front door. A late check fee of $10 may apply.


Checked-in house guests only. For safety and security reasons, no visitors are allowed whatsoever.

Fire alarm

If you set it off, you must pay the fire department’s call-out fee – now $800 plus.

Unruly behaviour

Have a good time, but please remember other guests and our staff who are here to look after you. We reserve the right to eject anyone who engages in unacceptable behaviour with no refund.
